A different perspective
This book offers some tips on how to deal with hoarding, but it mostly demonstrates how the world appears to compulsive hoarders. As such, it is devoid of the usual implied condescension toward those with the condition, but maybe would help others instead to understand what feels "normal" for hoarders.
The writing is anything but stuffy, and can easily sustain interest. The intended readers are ordinary people, not specialists nor academics. For those who want to delve further into the subject, there is a bibliography at the end.
