While E B While's celebrated Charlotte's Web receives a bit more attention, Stuart Little is also worthy of being in every home's library. The title character has wonderful adventures and the compassion shown for others, despite their differences, teaches worthwhile values.

Splendid Reading for All Ages
'Stuart Little' is that lovely thing, a book children and adults can enjoy, ideally together. Funny and smart and beautifully written, I thoroughly recommend this book. A wonderful quotation to remember: Stuart asks about the best, most important things in the world and a child responds; the smell of the neck of a baby whose mother keeps it tidy. Exactly! I will visit my granddaughter, aged four, in London later this year and I am so looking forward to the pleasure of reading 'Stuart Little' to her.

Most Memorable
This book has always been one of my favorites as a child. I can hardly remember many other books I had read as a little girl but this one is unforgettable!
Stuart Little is an adorable mouse that touches your heart as he becomes part of a human family. The Little's end up adopting this little mouse as their second child, and there are many bumps in the road before he is accepted and loved by his human brother and family cat. A must read!
