This 2018 release might seem like a gimmick, but in fact the famous waltzes and polkas of Johann Strauss II and all the rest have had lyrics for a long time, often multiple sets. They were popular songs. No less than the king of them all, The Beautiful Blue Danube, Op. 314, was originally a texted piece. You get a later version, from 1889, rather than the original lyrics, and the waltzes have continued to accrue new lyrics and new arrangements as they have gone along; some of them here are by the choirboys' director, Gerald Wirth. With all this being the case, the Choir Boys perhaps come closer to the Strauss spirit than any number of purely orchestral versions.
