It's reasably historically accurate, although Mr. DeMaria changes or mistakes the timeline in the beginning of the book. I also don't think Duncan's death happens quite as he portrayed it, but it's still perfectly plausable.
It certainly is an interesting book, with pretty believeable characters.
The only downside is that it sort of peters out after Macbeth becomes king. Historically, less happened then, but the book skips ten years completely, which I didn't like. And Macbeth's death is reported only, in about four sentences. Very anti-climatic.
But for all that, it's not bad. Definitely worth reading if you're into Macbeth.
