I'm a recent Steve Winwood fan, just starting to learn about him, so this book was of interest to me. There are lots of good pictures, and the writing is good. Loved the party about the young Stevie being part of the SLAGs, Society of Looning Alcoholic Guitarists. My only problem is that he doesn't embrace his young looning times. He denies them, saying the" a "stood for acoustic, not alcoholic. Well, I guess being a family man and a church organist, he would like to present himself as being ultra-virtuous, but there's something to be said for having sown your wild oats and being knowledgeable about foibles.
