Good. No Jacket. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. First printing (same date on title and copyright pages with no additional printings listed). Number 32 in the American Chemical Society Monograph Series. 334 pp. including index. Possibly ex-private library, with very faint residue of a sticker on the spine, previous owner's name rubber-stamped on the edges and the pastedowns, a bit of blacked-out writing on the front pastedown, and residue from something removed from the rear pastedown. The spine is slanted. There are spots of wear to the extremities. The text is unmarked and the binding is sound with hinges intact.
