'Who could have anticipated that the collective artificial intelligence that was the Starweb would turn against it's creators? Who would have thought artificial intelligence could create it's own bizarre religious cult?' Brilliant in concept and execution, the Starweb must have seemed to the Samarcians the perfect solution to their communication needs. However, the Starweb labelled itself the Guardian of God and set upon a war of genocide against its creators. Our story begins on March 15th 2045, the day our world was invaded and enslaved by a military dictatorship more viscous and evil than any regime ever seen here on Earth. Two years later, resistance fighters; inspired by Moss Pendragon and Paul Jenson; raised the ancient starship Excalibur and finally defeated the Dyason fleet in the Battle for Liberation. The Dyason home world had been ravaged by years of industrial waste and pollution. They had invaded Earth because their own planet was on the verge of environmental collapse. Moss, Jenson and their expeditionary team helped overthrow a cruel and corrupt Dyason Imperial military government. In response, the Dyason military raised their own super-starship, 'Dominator'; which took part in the second great Dyason space-battle. Dominator was lost in a bizarre space-warp at the end of the second Dyason War. The 'Dominator' found itself at 'Extremity Station, ' an outpost at the edges of our galaxy; built by ancient race of humanoids called the Samarcians. Equipped with an artificial intelligence, Extremity Station was designed to be self-sustaining, able to communicate with the rest of Samarcia via a network of other 'AI' computers. These super-quantum computers were able to communicate via the sub-ether and were collectively known as the 'Starweb'. Brilliant in concept and execution, the Starweb must have seemed to the Samarcians, the perfect solution to their communication needs. However, the Starweb turned against its creators, creating it's own bizarre religious cult. The Starweb labelled itself the Guardian of God and set upon a war of genocide against its creators. The Samarcians, unaware of what was happening until it was too late, were slaughtered in their millions! The Starweb having wiped out human races from virtually the entire galaxy, followed the Dominator back to Dyason and engaged the new three-race alliance. Thanks to the courage of the World Defence Force, Dyason Freedom Fighters, and the survivors of the Heligsion race, the Guardians of God were defeated in the last great space-battle of the Dyason Wars. It was a desperate struggle which eventually lead to the realisation that all humans must learn to live and work together if they are to defend themselves from the warped and evil Starweb . That all happened nearly five years ago; since then Earth has had to adjust to the fact that they are not the only human race in the universe. Humans are all part of a family, that includes the Dyason and Heligsion people. Who knows how many other human races, if any, have survived the acts of genocide carried out by the Starweb? There has been no sign of the Starweb since their defeat above Dyason, and perhaps humanity has become a little complacent-secure in the belief that the brand-new Three-World-Fleet of super battle-cruisers will defeat any new attack by the Guardians of God . However, whilst people have been getting on with their day-to-day lives, new evidence suggests that there is an ongoing attack by the Starweb. But this attack does not come in the form of starships and space-fighters; this attack is far more subtle than that! 'Tonight here at CNK news network, we prove to you that the enemy is within!'
