Star Girl
This book! I read it when I was 12-44 years ago and it still holds such a special place in my heart and memories. For a young girl just getting into reading it held a beautifully descriptive telling of another young girl very different and yet much the same in many ways. I remember being totally caught up in this book reading it from cover to cover in one sitting. it had romance and duty and honor and caused me to think about things in a new way. I'm so glad to find this book again-I've not been able to find it until now. I HIGHLY recomend it for girls in the 10 -14 year range.
