Worth the money - If you are a novice
The book is easy to follow and lays out its explanations extremely well over the first seven chapters. So well infact that I actually read some of the stuff that was not required reading in it and quite enjoyed myself and learnt something. The practice problems are tricky and the Case Studies complicated but not beyond ones scope.
The second half of the book covers slightly simpler content but one or two chapters are not as well written and here the case studies become killers. But if you live through these couple the book then proceeds to acquit itself well through the rest of the content.
Do not expect to find any of the solutions for the problems online - some kind of copyright restriction prevents posting of any of the solutions.
The text is accompanied by two CDs. The first disc covers example problems and has complementary premium solver and crystal ball software. The second disc is Microsoft project - which is used only in one chapter.
All in all this is a good text book one that you will buy, use and hang onto at the end of the course. Easier to understand than other books that cover similar material, I definitely recommend the book.
