Josh White is one of the more unusual blues performers. Although White had been performing as early as the 1920s, it wasn't until the 1960s when his most impressive recordings were made (for most blues performers, this process is reversed). Southern Exposure collects 22 of White's best-known songs from his 'rediscovery' in the 1960s, from the standard "John Henry," to original compositions such as "Hard Time Blues."
