This interesting LP has 16 selections (programmed in chronological order from 1930-34) whose subject matter has to do with the Depression. Most of the groups are (with a couple of exceptions) obscure and dance band-oriented, giving listeners a good idea as to what the "pop scene" was like before swing caught on.
