While many may be put off by the Christian zeal of the lyrics, it's hard to resist Bradley's gentle phrasing and clear tone (or even that slight "shush" in her S's). The result is not overly kinetic righteousness, but laid-back, universally likable reflection. This is a gorgeously mellow, sometimes upbeat and spirited listen from top to bottom. Highlights include "Clinging to a Saving Hand," "I Pressed Through the Crowd," and the traditional "It's Gonna Rain," which features soulful a cappella work.
