When Warryn Campbell's production work isn't quite as in-the-face, the duo does not exactly dull their message; the sleek midtempo track "Blind," for instance," isn't merely humble but verbally self-lacerating. Although "Walking" sounds surprisingly punchless for a track that replays elements of Crystal Waters' club classic "Gypsy Woman," it just about towers over the album's second half, which sags with plaintively strummed acoustic guitars and churning electric guitars.
