I enjoy reading books that have been turned into movies, and finding the differences between the two. One of my favorite movies is 'Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?' And this book is the original story.
Sadly, there are basic differences, name changes, one set that I was still getting confused on near the end. Differences in location and the deaths. Not of that bothered me, as I know there are economic and artistic considerations when adapting a book to the screen.
Why I give this a low rating is two-fold. The move is funnier, in all respects. The book is more into the main characters sexual escapades.
There is the diet for the main character laid out for a whole week. That is the funniest part of this book.
