"Solar Cooking" was written by someone who lives in a place where you might not expect there to be enough sun to cook with -- Oregon. But Harriet Kofalk has figured out how to solar cook even on less-than-sunny days, and has created a bunch of recipes that are perfect for solar cooking ? delicious, easy and made for the cooker.
Almost all of the recipes are vegetarian, which matches the whole concept behind solar cooking. I have experimented with more than a dozen recipes from the book and have found them all to work well in the solar cooker.
One reason I ordered this particular book is because it has information about solar canning, which I found nowhere else.
