Easy to Understand
I needed this book for class. The cover by itself makes it look good by all the colors, it looks inviting. Inside the cover is a timeline of Society in History (may be useful, not for me, but maybe for someone else). Inside the book in each chapter are many boxes for different things to think about while reading. Also gives some articles from the New York Times inside. Also there are maps for worldwide and the US that pertain to different chapters. Each chapter ends in a review that is very easy to understand and points you to pages that it was discussed. Definitions to important words are along the side of the page. Also there are sample test questions there, multiple choice and essay. The answers to the multiple choice are on that same page.
