This is one of my all time favorite books. This is actually a sequel to Mason's previous novel, Playing James, but stands very well on it's own. The story centers on Clemmie Colshannon and the very eccentric, and laugh out loud Colshannon family. In between the hyjinks of her family, including her actress mother who nurses an injured segull (named Norman) by allowing him free reign of the house and feeding him goumet sardines, there is also a very sweet love story. I was laughing the whole way through. Highly reccommended.
