Hooyman's and Kiyak's book is packed with useful information on every aspect of gerontology. The social, biological, and financial aspects of the aging process are covered in great detail. However, the book is repetitive, and the information presented is often seemingly contradictory, requiring a word sleuth to decipher exactly what the authors are attempting to convey. Every chapter of this book contains typographical errors. Reading this book is a frustrating experience, which requires much patience and re-reading.
