While not exactly luau music, Slidin' on the Frets: The Hawaiian Steel Guitar Phenomenon is steeped in island tradition. Made up of historical recordings highlighting the Hawaiian music craze of the early part of the 20th century, these 23 songs range in origin from Trinidad, Argentina, France, Greece, and more and feature a style quite removed from Don Ho's "Hawaiian Wedding Song."
