A portfolio of 66 plates printed on India paper. The mounts for the plates measure 38cm by 29cm; the printed images themselves vary in size, but are typically about 19cm by 15cm. The portfolio itself is made of red cloth, with gilt titling to the front board. The portfolio is rubbed and scuffed; the plates are in very good condition. This portfolio was originally printed to accompany the deluxe limited edition of Walter Armstrong's monograph on Sir Henry Raeburn; the text volume is not present here.
