This, from a recording made during Carnival 1991, is a collection of re-creations of the calypsos written by the greats of the 1930s -- Lord Executor, Lord Beginner, Atilla the Hun, Roaring Lion, Growling Tiger, Destroyer, Invader, Caresser, and others. Many of the greatest songs of the era are present. On top of re-using the lyrics of the greats, fully acoustic bands were set up to attempt at a re-creation of the full sound.
