Some of the tracks, such as "Sangre Americana," reveal more of a pop/rock focus with just a sprinkling of Latin rhythms, while others such as "Pasos de Gigante" present straight-ahead Latin music complete with horns and timbales. Lead singer/guitarist Jorge Villamizar's vocals are smooth and mellow, lending a hypnotic feel to bossa nova-flavored tunes like "En los 70" and "El Algun Recuerdo."
