This is a nice replacement for book I had for over 60 years at an affordable price. For a exact replacement it would have cost 10 X more.
The book from Alibis was in very good condition

I picked this up in a thrift store and it reminded me so much of poems I heard in my childhood. Lovely poems. the store had a book sale that day and I got the book for 20 cents, 1940 edition. my lucky day I guess.

Poems Like Music
This is a book of poems suitable for children, written by some of the greatest poets. My mother read these to me as a child many years ago. When I tried to buy the book for my grandchildren and found it unavailable. I was thrilled to see it has been published again and carried by alibris. I love reading the poems to my grandchildren and find my son, now 40, joining in by memory.
Reading "Little Child, Good Child" or "Someone Came Knocking" to a child in bed will inevitably cause him to go to sleep with a contented look on his face.
