You have a chance to experience South Asia the way it once was, although extremely basic in remote areas. Twenty four years later, Myanmar has delicious food, wonderful hotel accommodations (in Yangon, Pagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake), and new areas are constantly being opened to tourists. You'll meet the sweetest, most gracious, hospitable people who need tourism badly. Starved for outside contact, we have a chance to make a positive impact on their lives.
