...in your tarot library.
This book is full of information. A great reference/resource book when learning the meaning of cards. You will not find the easy keywords at a glance charts or listings of meanings. Therefore, those very new to tarot might find it not suited for them. However, if you want to take a few moment to think about the energy each card represents, this book can do a lot, even if you are a beginner (like me).
The book is written in the format where the author explains the numerous symbolism you find on each card. She uses the Rider pack mostly for explanation, but you will find the amount of symbols that were put into each card is simply amazing. She incorporates various ways those symbols can be interpreted, e.g. through Jungian psychology, numerology, Kabbalah(Kabala) and other occult traditions, and the flow of the description/explanation of one card to the next goes like one continuous story (at least most part).
It might take long to read the description (story) for each card, especially when you are in the middle of a reading. However, I find myself going back to this book over and over to refresh my understanding and interpretation of the general theme/energy of the card and what it symbolizes.
If you are wondering if you can get keywords and meanings of the card reading this book, the answer is yes. And much more. It's just the numerous meanings and keywords are buried in the rich explanations of so many symbols put into each of the cards. If you don't mind highlighting your book collection, you can highlight the insightful keywords and it will be a quick reference guide too.
