This novel does not have the flashiness and zip of Brad Thor, or Vince Flynn or David Baldacci. However, it is very realistic -- good people die and bad people survive -
The cavalier way in which secret wars are planned based on unfounded assumptions is truly eye opening and the behinds the scenes or terrorist actors - such as assassins boggles the mind. A little hard to get into but worth the read.
