For the record, Domus was pianist Susan Tomes, violinist Krysia Osostowicz, violist Timothy Boulton, and cellist Richard Lester were augmented in the quintet with bassist Chi-chi Nwanoku. Each of the players is clearly a virtuoso -- listen to Osostowicz soar in the solo lines of the Adagio & Rondo or Tomes float arpeggios in the quintet -- but the group is more than the sum of its parts; it is a union of strong individuals dedicated to giving themselves to the music. And those strong individuals deserve to be named in the liner notes. Anything less...
