Teddy - open, affectionate, the gentle dreamer - thinks he has found his calling in the Catholic Church. Run was good but far from great. The story lacked the complexity typical of an Ann Patchett novel and the ending left me feeling "what the...".
I would recommend it but with the caveat that it is no Magician's Assistant.
