A Must Have !
My English professor required this book (RULES FOR WRITERS, 5TH EDITION, by Hacker, Diana) alone with the book "SUBJECTS/STRATEGIES 10TH ED, by Eschholz, Paul A.. I must tell you these two books were the best combination of any two English books I've ever used. I excel easily in math; however, I struggle with English and specially writing essays. I honestly believe that it was greatly because of haveing the use of these two books that I recieved my very first A in a college English class. My bottom line on this book (well both of them) is get them...........even if they are not required. The cost for the books at Alibris was the best I found and your wrting and papers will benefit so much more then you could believe.
