I wish we would learn facts like these in school. I think history class would have been more popular.

Amusing Zoom through Modern European History
Royal Babylon is amusing without being so disrespectful as to make me turn away. I learned some interesting things about European royals over the last several centuries, including the path of hemophilia gene, the Hapsburg chin, and the apparently inherited mental problems, presumably from the persistent inbreeding. Nobles weren't good enough -- only blood royal would do. This book could make good vacation reading, a tale lively told.

Ugh
This book was so full of depressing graphic details that I could not read it. I got through 3 chapters and gave the book to a used bookseller.

Absolutely hysterical. One of the funniest books I have read in a long time. The best is that this is a non-fiction work, which makes it all the more funny.
