Very Good in Very Good jacket. The book itself is a tad shelf rubbed and edge worn, but remains clean, with lovely silver gilt on the spine. The jacket, too, is shelf rubbed and edge worn, with the top and bottom edges of the spine in particular beginning to fray and tear. There is a price sticker on the inside flap of the jacket. Internally, the pages are ever so slightly tanned, but are clean, crisp and complete. Altogether neatly bound and presents handsomely in cellophane.

Kaminsky (September 29, 1934 October 9, 2009) was an American mystery writer and film professor. He is known for three long-running series of mystery novels featuring the protagonists Toby Peters, a private detective in 1940s Hollywood; Inspector Porfiry Petrovich Rostnikov, a Moscow police inspector; and veteran Chicago police officer Abe Lieberman. A later series followed Lew Fonesca, a process server from Sarasota, Florida. In a cream cloth binding in a clipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, generally smart. Boards are lightly rubbed in places. Dustwrapper is smart with just minor edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some minor age-toning. Very Good Indeed.
