Seller's Description:
Connie Booth, John Cleese, Graham Crowden, Desmond Jones, Freddie Jones. Fine in fine packaging. Language: English. Run time: 40 mins. Originally released: 1974.
TITLE: Romance With A Double Bass
GENRE: Romantic comedy, set in age of enlightenment Russia
CAST: John Cleese, Connie Booth, Freddie Jones, John Moffat
PLOT: Russian aristocratic princess falls in love with a musician after circumstances force him to transport her nude in his instument case all through the countryside while he himself is nude (As a result of a thief)
RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 9 of 10; My title says it all. The nudity is handled quite morally but it has to be there as it is central to this short (40 minutes) work by Anton Chekov.
DVD Bonus: none (a shame)
ADDED NOTES: Joy is brought to any fans of "Fawlty Towers" to see Cleese and Booth working together in something other than that TV series. I tell you magic exists and it can be seen on the screen when these two appear together.
