Rhino's Rolling Stone: The '70s California Sound is so nicely assembled -- down to the liner notes replicating the font and layout of classic Rolling Stone magazines -- that it seems a bit churlish to complain about the collection's brief running time (only ten tracks!) and familiar song selection.
