The 1977 volume contains great pop hits like Glen Campbell's "Southern Nights," David Soul's "Don't Give Up on Us," Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat," and Crystal Gayle's "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue." To keep things close to exciting there are a couple of disco hits (KC & the Sunshine Band's "I'm Your Boogie Man" and Rose Royce's "I Wanna Get Next to You") and the sublimely silly soul of the Floaters' "Float On." The collection is a bit on the skimpy side to be considered an essential purchase.
