I must say that Michael Lydon chose the right objects in his book, while he was in the middle of it all. All of the person's he wrote of, developed to historic essential types. And so it's very pleasing to read his interviews with these figures. But I think that it's hard for me to convince my friends & family to read this book: it's, for recent termes, a bit too old-fashion. One must be a die-hard (historic) music friend, to read this. I 'am, but most of my friends are not.
