In square photographic quarto wrappers with a haunting full-page rear cover close-up of the photographer staring at the viewer. 96 pages. Printed in Japan with text in Japanese except for a one-page acknowledgment in the rear in English by Cornell Capa, the executive director of the International Center of Photography as well as Robert Kirschenbaum: " It is particularly appropriate that Japan should be the venue of the first retrospective exhibition of the life and photographs of Robert Capa. For it was here that Capa received a hero's welcome just before going off to his ironic death in Indochina."
