Glad I didn't pay by the pound for this textbook. It weighs a ton! Good, solid, well-written Patho text. Bought the 7th ed instead of current 8th ed. for my class --professor said the 7th ed. was ok and it was less than half the price of the newest ed. Also, since it only cost me $35 I didn't feel as guilty when I sliced it into chapters with a razor blade to avoid hauling the heavy text to class and straining my back. Will be keeping this text (it's in a 3-ring binder now) as a future reference.

Poorly organized. Constant mention of topics that 'will be covered later' throughout the book, and yet you better find the details (10 or 100 pages forward) and read them before continuing where you were, or you will be missing something.....so constant back and forth.
