1) I saw/reviewed the book in the local library
prior to ordering it; It's a "really good" book for
anyone with "mechanical aptitude" who would
like to work on their own bike rather than pay a professional to work on it.
2) The tables/charts are wonderful, e.g., the "tork"/"torque" of the fasteners on the bike.
3) The pictures are "hand-drawn" (a benefit for one's independence from other books' color photographs, as they might cause a "one-spirit problem" in some cases).
4) I really like color photographs' specifics more than "hand-drawn" items. Therefore I have bought another book with less professional data (ex: tork/torque specifics) to use in conjunction with it, including a British based book as many bikes are "European" in construction with different vocabulary as noted in another biker's recommendation (with more pictures!).
