There's a heavy concentration on the Clinton axis, featuring another of his solo tracks ("Pumpin' It Up"), Parliament's "Big Bang Theory," and "Body Slam" from Bootsy's Rubber Band; the collection also examines the jazz-fusion side of the genre with cuts by Donald Byrd ("Dominoes") and the Blackbyrds ("Rock Creek Park").
