Like the rest of the albums in this RCA mid-priced reissue series, this was a nice idea badly executed. A paltry 18 songs spread over two long-playing discs, and featuring "Cool Water" and "Riders In the Sky" from the 1940's, but no "Tumbling Tumbleweeds." Also included are "Cigareets, Whusky and Wild Women, " "High Noon, " "The Ballad of Davy Crockett, " "Home On the Range, " and "Blue Prairie, " but none of this is done with much sense (modern stereo sides are juxtaposed with mid-1940's mono) of order or purpose, other ...
