What occurs here is a modern reproduction of the original tunes with new music and production (by Nitin Shankar) created from the actual charts. So, what once existed as folk melodies and the now classic Indian pop sound of the '70s has become everything from jazzed-up dub, digital delayed house tracks, and the ilk, although the original music has been preserved!
