Forgiveness & Grace
Return to Me
Robin Lee Hatcher
Robin Lee Hatcher has written a compelling story about the ?prodigal son?. In this case the ?prodigal son? is Roxy Burke, who is frustrated because she was unable to make her dreams come true. The ?good or stay at home sister? is Elena Burke, has a hard time welcoming her sister back. Robin weaves a virtual triangle around Wyatt Baldini who has loved both sisters at one time in his/their life and is now contemplating becoming a minister. Jonathan Burke, the father, loves both girls and Wyatt despite their faults but knows that only God can pull his family back together.
In this story, Robin Lee weaves all these ingredients together in a story that tells us about the past and the present struggles of each person. She also shows us how the past helps to shape what happens in the present. How God can take something bad and turn it into good. The story is complicated but it is interesting to see how she pulls everything together at the end and helps us to better understand forgiveness and grace.
At first I wasn?t sure but once I got started, it was a hard one to put down until I?d finished reading it. It will definitely hold your attention and is well worth reading.
