N O doubt a much more beautiful structure could be built of the same materials by more skillful hands, but now is the time when the general public desire to be informed about these most lavish and bountiful resources of this section of Virginia; and if the more competent heads and hands will not under take a work which, if even tolerably well done, would be alike gratefully received by a progressive public and a needy State, why some one must do it who may barely have nothing more than a love of his country to urge him to the task.
