At the business meeting in the forenoon, in addition to the election of Officers and other routine matters, Sir Frederick Pollock, the orator of the day, and Mr. John H. Arnold, for twenty-three years Librarian of the Law School, were unanimously elected the first honorary members of the Association. At the close of the business meeting, shortly before twelve o'clock, the members Of the Association, with their invited guests, among Whom were the Chief J us tice of the United States, the Faculty of the Harvard Law School, several members of the Corporation of the University, the heads of other departments of the Uni versity, the Provost of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Dean of the Boston University Law School, preceded by the Germania Band, and escorted by the Marshals, marched to Sanders Theatre, Where the ora tion was delivered.
