The bones of unnumbered millions, scattered over the face of the earth, shall come together, bone to his bone. The dust and ashes of the martyrs, and of all who once perished in the flames, shall come forth. The elements shall be made to deliver up every particle of human dust. The earth, the air, and sea shall all deliver up their dead. And now the whole race of Adam, appears upon the earth at once--a multitude which no man can number, of all ages and nations and languages. But their bodies will be widely different. The bodies of the righteous will be glorious. "We look for the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto Christ's glorious body." In respect to the bodies of the wiched, very little is revealed. But they shall be incorruptible, immortal and inglorious. They shall "awake to shame and everlasting contempt." Their bodies will correspond with their character and condition. Now the souls of the righteous--the spirits of just men made perfect, will return each to his former habitation. And what will be the reflection of a glorified spirit, about to take possession of its glorified body. "This is the body which I once inhabited, and from which I have long been separated. This is the body in which I sinned, and in which I enjoyed a day of salvation. This is that body in which I once heard the sound of the gospel, and felt such a weight of guilt as made me cry out, "what must I do to be saved?" This is that body in which 1 repented of my sins, and cried, "God be merciful to me a sinner."
