The Colonization of the 3rd world has brought alot of troubles to the indigenous people. The story of the Colonial India is not different. The North-West Frontier of Colonial India had a different status. Haji Sahib Turangzai, one among many, tried to work for his people. He was not a graduate from any university but the movement he started was first of its nature among the Pukhtuns. He tried to resolve their mutual differences on one hand and educate them on the other which he had realized was need of the time. At the same time he introduced POLITICS OF NONCOOPERATION, much earlier than Gandhi Ji. The Colonial Authorities, however, could not tolerate his activities and he was arrested. The British Indian government's policies changed his complete outlook and he turned against the authorities. He migrated to tribal area and remained busy in fighting against the colonial authorites till his death. The Movement, initiated by Haji Sahib did not end with his migration. Rather Abdul Ghaffar Khan and other disciples of Haji Sahib not only continued the educational and social reformation but also occupied the politics of the province for the decades to come.
