Written from a decidedly pro-British/Ulster point of view, Dawson's screed is often paired with that of Escouflaire's "Ireland, An Enemy of the People" in attempting to reduce sympathy for the Irish rebellion. This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of the First American Edition. Red cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine and cover. Clean text; 272 pages, indexed, with two pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Lacking the dustjacket. Some light sunfade to the spine and margins of the cover; still, this copy is the best one Quercus has seen, very bright and fresh, and would be rated higher save for a tape repair (professional) to the front gutter.
