Wonderful book on Scotch Whisky & Grand Wee Roads.
Iain Banks fills this book with much more than opinions on whisky. There are ruminations on motor cars, the Scottish economy, the enjoyment of driving on back roads, his extended family and friends, poor judgement, and the nature of US/UK relations at the time of the second Iraqi war.
I felt like I was in the car alongside him, and reading this book makes me regret his premature death even more.
BTW, the descriptions of the distilleries and the individual whiskies make me want to instantly take a plane to Scotland and strike out on my own whisky pilgrimage.
I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Enjoy and have a dram in memoriam of Iain while you do.

Exactly as promised
This book, which is currently out of print, was exactly as promised. Wonderful condition and reasonably priced. Came from out of country, so took a bit longer then usual, but well worth the wait.
