I found this book extremely helpful in understanding and reading EKG strips. It explained things in layman's terms and started at a very basic level. I would liken it to an EKG book for "dummies."

Outstanding for Student Nurses!
I'm going into my senior year (last semester) of nursing school at Binghamton University's Decker School of Nursing in Binghamton, NY. My clinical rotation for this last semester is in ICU two days every week until graduation. My off unit experience last semester was in ICU for a day. That's when I wish I had my hands on this book. Reinforcement of reading the EKG's is made so easy. Can't wait to get there and practice reading real time strips of patients I'm caring for. jkinney1
