Replies were received from 810 (43 percent) of the persons who were supplied with seed from Urbana. Of the 630 Illinois resi dents receiving seed, 232 sent in reports; of the persons in other states who were sent seed, 566 filed reports.1 Twelve reports were received from foreign countries, to which 25 lots of seed had been sent.
